A urine collection device includes a support apparatus for supporting the urine collection device on a toilet. An attachment section attaches to a sample holder and a collection section receives and directs urine into the sample holder.

It is even more difficult for the elderly, disabled, overweight, pregnant and very young to give urine samples. It is not easy or sanitary for anyone. Trying to catch a “mid-stream” flow multiplies the difficulties. A mid-stream flow refers to a urine sample that does not include the initial portion of a urine stream.
