Embodiment Construction

[0043] Identical or identically acting elements are marked with the same reference symbols in the various figures. 1 to 10 and FIGS. 11 to 23 will be described together below.

[0044]What Fig. 1 shows is a front view of a cartridge 100 for carrying out ELISA ("Enzyme Linked Immuno SorbentASSAY", "Enzyme Linked Immunosorbent Assay") and the microchannel or microcavity system present therein, wherein, for clarity For the sake of convenience, additional icons are marked with corresponding functions. Specifically, the cartridge 100 consists of a plastic base 101 with a fluid structure covered by a plastic film. The structure will be explained below with reference to FIGS. 2 to 10 .

[0045] From the plan view shown in Fig. 1, it can be seen that a sample inlet 102 connected with a distribution section 105 can be seen, through which a liquid sample specially used for nucleic acid analysis can be fed in in a selected manner, and the liquid sample can be Samples are used, for exa...

Abstract

A cartridge (card) having a system of microchannels and / or microcavities is used for automated DNA or protein analysis, wherein said microchannels or microcavities comprise geometrical structures for receiving dry reagents. For the purpose of industrial production, the cartridge is produced from a flat card support, e.g., by injection moulding. The reagents are spotted into the open channels, dried and then the channels are sealed by means of a film. A finished cartridge can thus be provided with a test sample and the fully automated measuring sequence can be initiated by inserting said cartridge into a read-out device.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to an arrangement for integrated automated DNA or protein analysis in a disposable cartridge. Wherein, the so-called "card box" refers to a flat card in the form of a savings card. Furthermore, the present invention also relates to a method for preparing said cartridge. Finally, the invention also relates to a method of operation for DNA or protein analysis using said cartridge. Background technique [0002] In order to conduct nucleic acid analysis for the purpose of answering human genetic questions, such as the analysis of leukocytes in whole blood, cells must be disrupted in the first stage as a sample preparation step, and the DNA released during this process must be separated . The second stage is to perform PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction, Polymerase Chain Reaction) for selective DNA propagation (amplification), thereby increasing the concentration of the DNA to be detected enough to detect it in the third stage ...
