Abstract

The invention discloses environment-friendly white latex, which is produced by copolymerization and blending of the following raw materials in proportion by weight as follows: 800 to 900 parts of water; 30 to 50 parts of polyvinyl alcohol; monomers: 10 to 20 parts of acrylic acid, 450 to 500 parts of vinyl acetate, 20 to 40 parts of methyl acrylate, 20 to 40 parts of butyl acrylate, 350 to 450 parts of EVA emulsion, 4 to 8 parts of emulsifying agent, 30 to 45 parts of initiating agent and 40 to 50 parts of plasticizing agent; and pH adjustment agents: 30 to 50 parts of sodium acetate solution with 15 percent of weight concentration, and 40 to 60 parts of sodium bicarbonate solution with 10 percent of weight concentration. All the performance indexes of the environment-friendly white latex can achieve or exceed the common aldehyde-containing white latex; the environment-friendly white latex has good water-resistant property and heat-resistant property, and has the advantages of high bonding strength, fast drying speed, easy storage, long preserving period, no pollution, and so on, thereby can be widely used in timber processing industry, paint industry, construction material industry, printing industry, etc.
