Provided is a microwave ceramics component semi finished article automatic trimming device and a trimming method thereof, which relates to the adjustment of resonance frequency of the microwave ceramics components, providing a microwave ceramics component semi finished article automatic trimming device and a trimming method thereof which can realize the adjustment process automatization, the real-time detection and storage of the component parameter, and can markedly advance the rate of products meeting standards. The trimming device is arranged with a resonant cavity, a sample conveying device, a baffle, a motor driving and controlling circuit, a vector network analyzer and a laser. The light beam is assembled on the semi finished articles and transmitted between an upper parallel plate and a lower parallel plate; the parameters of the semi finished articles are gathered to the computer, to check whether matching with the finished product requirement compared with the set adjustment parameters, if not, the laser is started to etch the semi finished article. The computer obtains the trimming parameters of the semi finished articles and the set processing parameters to compare, when consistent, the etching is stopped.
