Abstract

High melting point coating wax and a preparation method thereof are disclosed, belonging to packing material technical filed. The invention takes high grade microcrystal wax as material to prepare high melting point coating wax which is at melting point of 110DEG C and satisfies national food wax standard GB7189-94 through the steps of adding Tissuemat E, high melting point foodstuff paraffin and antioxidant, heating and mixing, filtering and molding. The high melting point coating wax has the advantages of high melting point, good flexibility and good sealing, and is safe to eat and use. The high melting point coating wax can be applied to food packing paper and packing containers which are filled or sealed under high temperature or food packing paper and packing containers which are folding resistant, oil resistant and water vapour penetration resistant, as well as the coating of other wrappages.
