The invention aims to provide a blended yarn of jade fiber and viscose fiber and a manufacturing method thereof. The blending ratio of the jade fiber to the viscose fiber in the blended yarn is (20-80) percent to (80-20) percent, and the preferred blending ratio is 50 percent to 50 percent. The manufacturing method of the blended yarn comprises the following steps: (1) jade polyester staple fiber with a specification of (1.4-4.5)dtex x(32-114)mm and cotton type viscose staple fiber with a specification of (1.4-2.2)dtex x(32-51)mm on the market are selected as raw materials; and (2) the two raw materials are blended into a yarn by adopting the blending ratio of (20-80) percent to (80-20) percent, preferably the blending ratio of 50 percent to 50 percent, and finally the blended yarn is obtained. The blended yarn solves the technical problems that a fabric manufactured by the prior pure jade fiber has poor hydroscopic property, unsoft hand feeling, and poor comfort function.
