Abstract

The invention relate to a medium control method for supporting cooperated communication in wireless local area network, belonging to the wireless local area network transmission technology field. The invention judges whether a relay node is available by controlling frame triangle interaction, if yes, adopts triangle data transmission mode according to the advanced estimation to packet error rate simultaneously. The invention preserves the advantages of conventional MAC protocol, and increases the saturation throughput of whole network by cooperated supporting and cooperated communication whenthe packet error rate is high, reduces average time-delay and packet loss rate. The invention preserves the backoff process of IEEE802.11b, so achieves the same fairness performance asIEEE802.11b. the invention is used in wireless local area network, achieves the advantages of little protocol modification and excellent performance improvement. When the channel fading is obvious, the invention caneffectively improve wireless network performance; and when the packet error rate is high, the invention can increase the throughput by about 17%, and reduce the packet loss rate to less than 1 / 10 of original value.
