Abstract

The invention provides an infrared remote controller for sending a display code to an LED dot matrix display screen and a control method thereof. The infrared remote controller comprises (1) a microprocessor; (2) a serial port which is connected with serial receiving and sending pins of the microprocessor, and used for receiving the dot matrix display code; (3) a nonvolatile storage device which is connected with the main control synchronous serial port of the microprocessor, and used for storing the dot matrix display code received by the remote controller; (4) a button (1) which is connected with an input pin of the microprocessor, and used for sending an infrared emitter starting signal to the microprocessor; (5) an infrared emitter used for emitting the stored dot matrix display code of the character or graphic; (6) a digital display component (2) used for displaying the serial number of the information currently emitted by the infrared emitter in the nonvolatile storage device; and (7) a remote controller power supply. The invention has the advantages of refreshing the display content on the LED dot matrix display screen more quickly and conveniently, and also providing more abundant display content for the LED dot matrix display screen.
