Abstract

A method of fabricating an optical device is disclosed. The method comprises the step of forming an optical stack of laminated lenses and a phosphor film therebetween. The method further comprises the step of attaching the optical stack to an LED die. In addition, an optical device fabricated by the above method is also disclosed. The phosphor film does not contact with the LED die, which does not resulte in reducing the luminous efficiency of the LED die, and thereby the luminuous efficiency of the optic elements is improved by the invention.
