Abstract

The invention provides an adhesive for physical foaming of a communication cable, comprising the following components: a low-density PE, a copolymer HA-1 and a copper corrosion inhibitor BTA, wherein, the mass ratio is 80:1:0.8. The production process comprises the following steps: (1) selecting materials: taking the low-density LDPE, the copolymer HA-1 and the copper corrosion inhibitor BTA as raw materials; (2) proportioning materials: weighing and proportioning the low-density LDPE, the copolymer HA-1 and the copper corrosion inhibitor BTA based on the mass ratio of 80:1:0.8; (3) mixing materials: sequentially adding the weighed materials into a high-speed mixer to fully and evenly mix; and (4) extruding and cutting: adding the mixed materials into an extruder through a feeding openingthereof, plasticizing and mixing by a screw stem of the extruder, cooling by circulating water, and then cutting into granules.
