The invention discloses an air conditioner temperature wireless monitoring system and method. The system comprises a computer and a plurality of temperature sensors which are connected together through a wireless network and the computer and are evenly installed in a room. The method of the invention comprises the following steps: breaking dormancy, detecting data obtained from network address, detecting data obtained from network routing, transmitting data, displaying and alarming. The invention realizes to monitor the air conditioner temperature through wireless network without paving transmission cables, thus reaching the aim of greatly saving the installation cost; and meanwhile, the system is in a dormancy state in work and has very low current consumption, the battery replacement cycle is long and the maintenance cost is reduced.
