Abstract

The invention discloses a motherboard, a memory, a controller thereof and a booting method, wherein when a power supply is activated, a loading-unfinished signal is transmitted to a central processing unit via the controller of the memory at first in order to accomplish the operating pause of the central processing unit. Afterwards, system firmware configured in the memory is loaded via the controller of the memory. And after the system firmware is loaded, a loading-finished signal is transmitted to the central processing unit via the controller of the memory in order to cause the central processing unit to starting the execution of booting program.
