Abstract

The invention relates to a luminance regulating system for a miniature projector, which comprises an extraneous light detection unit, a processing unit and a luminance regulating unit. The processing unit is connected with the extraneous light detection unit; the luminance regulating unit is connected with the processing unit; the extraneous light detection unit is used for detecting the light intensity of extraneous light, converting the light intensity into an electrical signal, and transmitting the electrical signal which reflects the intensity of the extraneous light to the processing unit; the processing unit is used for processing the light intensity signal detected by the extraneous light detection unit to form a control signal and sending the control signal to the luminance regulating unit; and the luminance regulating unit is used for regulating the luminance of a projection light source according to the control signal. The system achieves the aim that the miniature projectorautomatically regulates the projection light source in different environments so as to meet the requirements of a user on different projection luminance needed in different environments and achieve the clear projection effect.
