Abstract

The invention relates to an yttrium rare earth magnesium composite nodulizer, which comprises the following components in percentage by weight: 35-55% of Si, 4.5-10% of Mg, 0.05-1.2% of Y, 0-1.0% of Bi, 0-5% of Sb, 0.5-5% of Ca, 0-5% of Ba and the balance of Fe and a small number of impurity elements. The yttrium rare earth magnesium composite nodulizer takes yttrium iron alloy as a source of yttrium, and a mix-melting method is adopted in a medium-frequency induction furnace to produce the yttrium rare earth magnesium composite nodulizer. Years of researches and application practices prove that the yttrium rare earth magnesium composite nodulizer produced by the yttrium iron alloy can completely solve the problems of spheroidalization decaying, graphite degeneration and the like in the process of producing nodular cast iron with a thick and large cross section under different conditions and solves the phenomenon of 'sandwich' of inhomogenous structure property of the nodular cast iron with the thick and large cross section. Because the rare earth contains yttrium and does not contain any other rare earth elements, the rare earth element is single without mutual interference of rare earth elements, and the spheroidalization decaying resisting capacity is strong.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of ferroalloy smelting, in particular to a yttrium rare earth magnesium composite nodulizer. technical background [0002] The yttrium-containing rare earth magnesium composite nodulizer currently available on the market contains yttrium, cerium, lanthanum and other rare earth elements in its rare earth elements. The rare earth elements will interfere with each other, and the ability to resist nodularization is weak. The density of sulfur oxide compound is higher than that of lanthanum cerium sulfur oxide compound, and there are more rare earth inclusions in the ductile iron. The large section ductile iron produced has poor performance and low quality. Contents of the invention [0003] The object of the present invention is to provide a yttrium-rare-earth-magnesium composite nodulizer that has no mutual interference between rare earth elements, has strong anti-spheroidization recession ability, and can improve the ...
