Abstract

The method comprises the following steps: using asphalt mixture ultimate tensile strain as a design index, using a vehicle axle load spectrum, a pavement temperature field and a pavement material dynamic modulus as design parameters, and combining a computer simulation technology and an elastic laminar mechanics theory to obtain pavement structural strain distribution approaching to a true state so as to accurately predict the pavement life and design a pavement structure with long life. Compared with a traditional design method, the invention solves the important technical difficult problem that the pavement structure designed by the traditional design method needs periodic reconstruction, realizes the goals of durability, economy and environmental protection of the pavement structure and has good popularization and application value.
