The invention discloses an input-output terminal continuous controller based on an RS485 bus, which comprises a first control system and a second control system, wherein the first control system is used for acquiring a signal output by a programmable logic controller (PLC), transmits the signal to the second control system through an RS485 bus, meanwhile, receives a signal which is transmitted from the second control system and output by a field device, and retransmits the signal to the PLC; the second control system is used for acquiring a signal output from the field device and transmits the signal to the first control system through the RS485 bus, meanwhile, receives a signal which is transmitted from the first control system and output by the PLC, and retransmits the signal to the field device. The invention can realize the data communication between the field device and the PLC without the support of the field device on the protocol, has the advantages of long transmission distance and reliable data transmission and can realize communication with only two cables.
