Abstract

The invention discloses a composition for preventing and treating allergic rhinitis and a preparation method thereof. The composition comprises an active ingredient and an excipient with high adsorbability, wherein the active ingredient is volatile oil (ml) which accounts for 0.01 to 3 percent of the total weight (g); the balance is the excipient; the volatile oil is one or more of Centipeda minima volatile oil, dementholized peppermint oil, Magnolia biondii Pamp volatile oil and dahurian angelica root volatile oil; and the excipient is two or more of vaseline, white oil, solid paraffin, liquid paraffin, microcrystalline wax, earth wax and naphthenic base rubber oil. The invention also discloses a preparation method for the composition. The method is easy to implement; and the prepared composition has good curative effect. The components of the composition are cheap and readily available, do not have dependency or toxic or side effect, and are safe and reliable; and the prepared composition can block allergen and prevent the state of illness from further intensifying, also can treat rhinitis effectively, and has short treatment time without relapse.
