The method comprises the following steps: selecting the effective data from the received data; respectively judging the effective data so as to obtain a corresponding judgment result; and weighting each judgment result by utilizing the corresponding channel information and the step of synthesizing each result after weighting to obtain the final judgment result. Because the data judgment is weighted and the final judgment result is obtained by utilizing the channel information, the detection device has excellent property even under low signal to noise ratio in a task group n (TGn) standard channel and is especially suitable to be applied to the identification of an 802.11n frame format.
