Problems solved by technology

The channel estimation method based on the LS criterion is simple, but the accuracy of the estimation result is not high; the channel estimation based on the MMSE criterion, because the correlation characteristics of the channel cannot be predicted, some alternative methods are used, and the performance is not good when the channel time changes greatly. not ideal

[0023] Such as figure 1 As shown, the aviation channel has the characteristics of sparse multipath in the time domain, and the time domain expression of the channel impulse response has fewer parameters, which is beneficial to channel estimation. Let the channel impulse response be:

[0024] h ( n ) = Σ i = 0 ∞ h i δ ( n - i ) - - - ( 1 )

[0025] in a i is the amplitude of the i-th diameter of the impulse response, θ i is the phase of the i-th path, and n represents the time sequence number of the symbol sequence. Let the transmitted symbol sequence be S(n), and the received sequence after passing through the cha...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for estimating a channel by means of correlation, which comprises the steps of: correlating data to be received at a receiving end with local m sequence and normalizing; judging whether the received data contains a pilot frequency sequence or not; estimating an initial channel; determining channel estimation; and correcting the channel estimation. Sharp related characteristics of a pseudorandom sequence are used in channel estimation and the receiving end is used to obtain multi-path information of a discrete channel by means of a series of threshold values and selection methods by correlation of a certain pseudorandom sequence of a channel and an original sequence so as to reconstruct channel shock response. For the discrete multipath channel with long delay, the invention has the advantages of low calculation complexity, less system expenses, high accuracy and good performance obtained.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of wireless communication channel estimation, in particular to a method for channel estimation using correlation. Background technique [0002] The channel quality of wireless communication is very poor, and there are serious multipath fading and noise effects in the channel. Therefore, it is not feasible to communicate directly in the wireless channel, and the received data needs to be detected at the receiving end. Because coherent detection has a performance gain of about 3dB compared with non-coherent detection, high-rate systems generally use coherent detection. In the process of coherent detection, it is necessary to equalize the received data to offset the influence of the channel on the data. Adaptive equalization does not require channel estimation, but due to the constraints of convergence speed, most other equalization methods require channel estimation to obtain the impulse response of the chan...
