Abstract

A pair of torque converting shafts is arranged between a power input shaft and a power output shaft of the hydraulic torque converting box; and each torque converting shaft is provided with two torque converters of different sizes. In normal condition, an electric control gear controlled by an industrial personal computer is used for controlling a solenoid valve, and the solenoid valve is used for controlling the state of pressure liquid in shells of the torque converters so as to control the state of power transmission from the power input shaft to the power output shaft finally, thus the diesel locomotive is automatically controlled to move forward and backward. The control method has the advantages of low noise and steady, reliability and safety of running.
