The invention discloses a high-efficiency short-range nitration method, which comprises the following steps of: oxidizing part of or all ammonia nitrogen in liquid to form nitritenitrogen under the action of autotrophic bacteria in a nitration pond; sedimentating a mud and water mixture which flows out of the nitration pond in a sedimentation pond; after solid-liquid separation is performed, allowing effluent to enter a denitrification pond and sludge to enter the nitration pond by using a circulating pump; arranging a regulating pond in front of the nitration pond, arranging an ammonia nitrogen on-line measuring device in the regulating pond, and regulating the flow of a water inlet pump and the circulating pump automatically according to a measuring value of the ammonia nitrogen on-linemeasuring device; arranging a pH meter in a nitration tank, and adding alkaline liquor automatically according to the measuring value of the pH meter; and arranging a dissolved oxygen (DO) on-line analysis meter in the nitration tank to regulate air flow and maintain appropriate dissolved oxygen.
