Abstract

The field operation and maintenance method is simple and strong in maneuverability. Electromechanical properties and physical and chemical properties of different batches of composite insulators in different operation environments are determined by combining operation detection with sampling inspection, and further a pointed operation and maintenance strategy is formulated. According to the field operation and maintenance method, unnecessary maintenance can be reduced and faults caused by improper operation maintenance of the composite insulator can be avoided.
