Abstract

The invention relates to a synchronous obtaining method of power state, which is applied in a power system of a computer, wherein the power system comprises an ACPI (Advanced Configuration and Power Interface) and is connected to a BIOS (Basic Input Output System); the BIOS is connected to a baseplate managing controller; the method comprises the following steps of: running an operation system of the computer after the power system is started; when the power state of the ACPI is detected by the BIOS to be changed, entering into a system managing terminal and processing the process by means of the operation system; and sending a demand to the baseplate managing controller and informing the baseplate managing controller of the power state of the ACPI by means of the BIOS. By utilizing the method provided by the invention, a user can synchronously obtain the power state through the BIOS and the baseplate managing controller.
