Abstract

The invention discloses a device for testing concentration of a gas extinguishing agent and a testing method of the device. The invention is characterized in that a gas filter, a heating and temperature control module, a flow control module, a concentration test module, a data processing module and a serial port communication module are assembled in a case body; a gas inlet is formed at the front end of the case body and a vacuum pump is connected to the rear end of the case body; the communication with a computer is achieved through a serial port; and the gas extinguishing agent concentration data is transferred to the computer after data processing. The gaseous mixture of air and gas extinguishing agent is pumped into the testing device through the vacuum pump, treated by the gas filter to remove foreign substances and heated to a preset temperature by a gas heater and then flows into the concentration test module; after the concentration data is obtained based on the thermal film sensing principle, the gaseous mixture is discharged through the outlet of the vacuum pump; the concentration data is processed by the data processing module to obtain concentration values of the gas extinguishing agent; and the concentration curve of the gas extinguishing agent is recorded by the computer. The device and method can be widely applied to test concentrations of different types of gas extinguishing agents and provide a support for evaluating fire extinguishment performance of gas extinguishing systems.
