The water-based metallic flashing paint comprises the following components by weight: 30 to 50 parts of acrylic copolymer aqueous dispersion-1, 15 to 27 parts of amino resin, 0.1 to 0.9 parts of BYK-028, 2.0 to 3.6 parts of dimethylethanolamine, 10 to 22 parts of water, 3 to 5 parts of waterborne aluminum powder, 0.05 to 0.20 parts of a dispersant, 2 to 5 parts of ethylene glycol monobutyl ether, 0.1 to 0.9 parts of BYK-347, 1.7 to 2.8 parts of BYK-425, 2 to 4 parts of waterborne polyurethane, 1.5 to 2.5 parts of polyurethane dispersant and 3.5 to 5.5 parts of water-based CAB.
