Abstract

The invention relates to the field of design of circuits, and discloses a high-ordered equation solving circuit and a method for controlling the same. High-ordered equations are quickly solved within the range of a definitional domain at low cost, software solution by the aid of a CPU (central processing unit) via complicated algorithms is omitted, the high-ordered equation solving circuit and the method can be used for a chip which needs to solve the high-ordered equations without the CPU, and a gap of structures of high-ordered equation solving circuit is filled. The high-ordered equation solving circuit comprises a signal generator, a polynomial circuit module, a zero-crossing point detection module and a sampling holder, the signal generator is used for outputting predetermined voltage which is continuously monotonically changed within the range of the definitional domain as independent variable voltage, the polynomial circuit module is used for realizing polynomial computation for the independent variable voltage according to polynomial coefficients and outputting voltage representing a polynomial value, the zero-crossing point detection module is used for detecting whether change of the voltage outputted by the polynomial circuit module crosses a zero point or not, and outputting a zero-crossing point signal if the voltage crosses the zero point, and the sampling holder is used for locking the independent variable voltage outputted from the signal generator to be used as a solution of a high-ordered equation when receiving the zero-crossing point signal.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of circuit design, in particular to a high-order equation solving circuit design technology. Background technique [0002] In the prior art, the The process of solving higher degree equations is very complicated. At present, software is mainly used, and it is completed by executing software for solving higher-order equations in the processor. The processor may be a central processing unit (Central Processing Unit, "CPU" for short), a digital signal processor (Digital Signal Processor, "DSP" for short), a single-chip microcomputer, and the like. However, the cost of the processor itself is relatively high, resulting in an excessively high overall cost of the solution. [0003] The inventors of the present invention have found that although software can be used to obtain approximate solutions to higher-degree equations, not all systems have processors, especially in Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) chi...
