The invention further discloses a PTC (positive temperature coefficient) thermistor made of the thermal sensitive ceramic material and used for yarn heating, and a PTC thermistor production method. The method includes: mixing the components according to a designed proportion, and subjecting the mixture to wet ball milling, pre-sintering, secondary wet ball milling, granulating, tabletting, sintering and post-processing to obtain the PTC thermistor.
