Abstract

Provided is a high-voltage transformer having ventilation duct for microwave oven. The high-voltage transformer avoids the damage to the inverter resulting from the temperature of the high-voltage transformer rising to the Curie point by forming a ventilating duct at the side surface of the high-voltage transformer of an inverter applied to the microwave oven. Moreover, the high-voltage transformer of the inverter-type microwave oven can be minisize. In addition, the employment of the ventilation duct reduces the manufacturing cost. The high-voltage transformer comprises: a ferrite core member composed of an upper portion and a lower portion, a coil holder having a through hole formed inside the coil holder, which makes the ferrite core member be jointed in the up-and-down direction via the through hole, a ventilation duct formed at two sides of the coil holder member in an extending member, and a winding slot that forms at the periphery of the coil holder to accept various coils wound inside the winding slot.
