Abstract
The invention relates to a deoxidizing and desulfurizing metallurgical powder composition. The composition comprises the following raw materials in percentage by weight: 42-88% of iron-based substrate powder, 10-30% of hard phase powder, 0.2-4% of aids, 2-10% of a deoxidizing agent and 3-8% of a desulfurizing agent, wherein the desulfurizing agent is formed by limestone, sodium carbonate, fluorite, calcium carbide, magnesium powder and caustic-calcined magnesite; and the deoxidizing agent is formed by metal aluminium powder and calcium aluminate powder. The composition has the following beneficial effects: the desulfurizing and deoxidizing effects are improved; and the composition has excellent compressibility and filling property, meets the requirements of production and has low production cost and wide range of application.
