According to the air floating block disclosed by the invention, an air floating platform can be constituted by using only one air floating block with the structure, the structure is very simple, and the planeness of the platform surface of the air floating platform and the corresponding relation among the air outlet holes of the air floating platform can be used for finish machining of a lathe so as to ensure precision; compared with the air floating platform formed by fixedly connecting the multiple single-side air floating blocks, error produced during the assembly and connection process is eliminated, the precision is greatly improved; and in addition, the air floating platform is integrally formed by one complete air floating block, the structural strength is greatly enhanced and the carrying ability is greatly improved in comparison with the air floating platform formed by the multiple single-side air floating blocks.
