The adoption of the system and the method is beneficial to adaptation to changes in geographic positions of users so as to meet the real-time requirement of the geographic positions of friend recommendation. The system is characterized by comprising a position information acquisition module, a network modeling module and a parallel computation module, wherein the position information acquisition module is used for acquiring real-time position information and taking the position information and time stamps as attribute index values of users; the network modeling module is used for establishing a user network model according to the position information and the time stamps as well as other static information; and by adopting a distributed parallel computation device or parallel computation device in any other form, the parallel computation module computes friend intimacy on the basis of the user network model and recommends friends according to the friend intimacy.
