Embodiment Construction

[0014] The technical solution of the present invention will be further described below in conjunction with the examples.

[0015] Principle of the present invention: OCT images are composed of speckles. Speckle is both an image element and an image noise. Speckle is caused by the interference of light scattered by structures in different positions in the object, such as the scattering of light by nuclei or organelles in tissues. The size of the speckle depends on the horizontal and vertical resolution of the OCT system. In general, OCT cannot distinguish structures beyond the resolution of the system, which can be defined as microstructures. Since the formation of speckle comes from the change of microstructure, speckle contains all the information of microstructure. The present invention can obtain the microstructure information even exceeding the resolution of the system through the speckle statistical analysis of the OCT image.

Abstract

The invention discloses an OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography) image analyzing method based on speckle contrast, comprising the following steps of: firstly, acquiring a single-width OCT image of an object to be imaged by using an OCT device, and selecting a processing window; calculating the contrast of pixel intensity in the processing window; moving the processing window and calculating the contrast of the pixel intensity in the processing window until traversing the image of the whole OCT; and according to the values of the contrasts, performing false color dying on the image. In the early disease diagnosis, the changes such as a micron dimension of intracellular fine structures need to be respectively distinguished, and the change of the micron-dimension cell level can be extracted by adopting the OCT image analyzing method provided by the invention.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the statistical analysis of the speckle of the image obtained by optical image tomography, and more specifically relates to an OCT image analysis method based on speckle contrast. Background technique [0002] Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) is an imaging method based on white light interference. The principle of OCT can be compared to ultrasound imaging. In ultrasound, images are reconstructed by measuring the intensity and delay time of sound pulses reflected by tissue at various depths. Due to the high speed of light, we currently do not have the ability to directly measure the delay of light pulses. However, we can use interferometers to measure the relative delay of light to achieve tomographic images. The horizontal resolution of OCT depends on the effective numerical aperture of the imaging arm optics, while the axial resolution depends on the bandwidth of the light source. Although the resolution of OCT ca...
