The invention discloses an aviation timing method and an aviation timing system for providing dual time display and UTC (Universal Time Coordinated) timing and sending. A clock system used comprises a microcontroller (110), a button module (120), a clock module (140) and a communication module (150). The clock module (140) comprises a crystal oscillating unit (143) and a read-write MAN (Metropolitan Area Network) clock unit (141) for recording local time and a read-write UTC clock unit (142) for recording coordinated universal time, wherein the read-write MAN clock unit (141) and the read-write UTC clock unit (142) are respectively connected with the crystal oscillating unit (143). The method comprises the steps of: 1) carrying out initial setup of the system; 2) receiving a UTC data signal; 3) writing the UTC data to the clock module (140); 4) reading time and date data from the clock module (140); and 5) switching to display dual time and dual date.
