Abstract

The invention discloses a storage method and a storage device of a distributive-type file system. The method comprises following steps of determining access times for the same file within a preset period of time; and migrating the file into a storage device with higher performance than the current storage device according to the access times. Through the storage method and the storage device, files inside the distributive-type file system are graded to be stored according to the file access heat of the file, i.e. the file with high access frequencies in the preset period of time is migrated into the storage device with high performance, the correlation of the file slice storage position and the file slice access heat is realized through the differential storage, so that input output operations per second (IOPS) pressure among the storage devices is balanced, and the overall performance is enhanced.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the communication field, in particular, to a storage method and device for a distributed file system (Distributed File System, DFS for short). Background technique [0002] Distributed storage realizes mass storage and rapid deployment of data by distributing and storing data on multiple disks of multiple servers. As the types of storage devices are updated, new storage devices will continue to be added to the disk cluster, and distributed storage must support plug-and-play of these storage devices. [0003] Different storage devices have different capacities and performances, and how to maximize their space and performance is a problem that needs to be paid attention to. The original disk read and write strategy mainly focuses on the space balance between the disk and the file access server, or adopts a random round selection strategy. Other existing load balancing technologies mainly focus on the selection of the fi...
