Abstract

The invention discloses a visual business process design method, comprising the following steps of: step 1, defining universal flow information which can be identified by a workflow engine and a flow graph drawing engine; step 2, developing a visual flow graph drawing engine for drawing the business flow in a visual graphic manner, and generating graphic information and the universal flow information; step 3, utilizing a unique identifier (ID) to build incidence relation between the graphic information generated by the flow graph drawing engine and the universal flow information, to enable the flow graph file and the universal flow file to be correspondingly coincident; step 4, creating a data transmission channel, transmitting the universal flow information generated by the flow graph drawing engine to the workflow engine; and step 5, converting the universal flow information into a flow defining file by an adaptive interface through the workflow engine, wherein the flow defining file can be identified and executed by the workflow engine.
