Abstract

The invention relates to an instant route selection based on multi-path communication time and credibility in a VANET (Vehicular Ad-Hoc Network), belonging to the technical field of communication and being used for network communication of urban vehicles. The instant route selection method specifically comprises the steps of: selecting multiple paths with communication time within a threshold from current available paths to be used as standby paths, selecting a path with highest credibility from the standby paths for data transmission, and under the condition of firstly considering the communication time, selecting the path in the terms of the credibility. A reputation-based credibility management model is adopted for credibility of nodes, each node stores the credibility of neighbor nodes, the credibility of each path is expressed by using the lowest value of the credibility of each node in the path, and a node transmission group selects a path with highest credibility for transmission. The instantaneity of the credibility is ensured due to the route selection. Before each communication, a source node can rapidly find an available path, thus the efficiency is increased; and the characteristics of high topology change speed of nods in the VANET and high movement speed of the nodes are met.
