Problems solved by technology

Another practical challenge to increase the number of ground base stations is that the more sites are built on the ground, the more sites are needed, and this ground-to-air communication system usually needs to be deployed along the route. In practice, the position of the route usually crosses remote mountainous areas , big cities, and even the seaside, if you want to deploy more dense base stations in these places, it will bring constraints and challenges in many aspects such as engineering, economy, society, and environment.

Embodiment Construction

[0059] Embodiments of the present invention will be described below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

[0060] figure 1 It shows the communication situation of the ground base station of the present invention from the aircraft airborne terminal of different distances, such as figure 1 As shown, the base station 2 on the ground communicates with three airborne terminals equipped with transmitters and receivers of the LTE air interface technical standard at the same time. The airborne terminal UE1 is close to the ground base station, the distance between UE2 and the ground base station is the maximum coverage distance stipulated by the existing LTE air interface technology, and the distance between UE3 and the ground base station is the maximum distance beyond the coverage distance of the LTE air interface protocol. According to the definition of LTE air interface protocol 3GPP 36.211, the sequence and cyclic prefix CP used in LTE preamble format 3 are the longest,...

Abstract

The invention discloses a wide-range nonsynchronous uplink accessing method and a device for ground-air communication. The method includes that data on physical random access channels (PRACHs) on a plurality of data symbols which are adjacent in time of uplink PRACHs of a long time evolution (LTE) system are reserved; a method for reserving the data on corresponding bandwidth is that reserved resource blocks (RBs) are freed up when a base station distributes uplink resources, and the freed-up RBs are not distributed to any uplink users to use; and the base station receives the data in a certain step length sliding window mode to detect a plurality of parallel uplink PRACHs and then outputs detection results of the plurality of parallel PRACHs in a combined mode. By means of the method, under the condition that any modification is not made on an LTE terminal, large-range covering of users in a range of over 100km is achieved only by configuring uplink channel resource allocation parameters of the base station and uplink PRACH receiving algorithm of the base station.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of wireless broadband ground-air communication and the field of aviation information management, in particular to a method and device for realizing large-scale asynchronous uplink access. Background technique [0002] The LTE system integrates many advanced technologies and has many advantages. At present, the 4G technology represented by LTE is the mainstream choice of the next-generation terrestrial wireless communication systems in various countries. A distinctive feature of LTE is that it can realize wide-range communication, and the furthest support is the coverage of up to 100km. This wide coverage capability has many potential applications. Providing uninterrupted IFEC (Inflight Entertainment and Communication) services to aircraft in flight is a hotspot of in-flight communication services. At present, the Aircell Company of the United States realizes air coverage through the use of EVDO. In fact, due to the...
