Problems solved by technology

[0004] Traditional optical touch screens have a common shortcoming, that is, the number of sensors must be increased or decreased according to the size of the touch screen in order to be applicable to different sensing ranges
Moreover, the existing touch screens are basically customized products, which is a big burden for manufacturers

Embodiment Construction

[0029] In order to further clarify the technical solution of the present invention, the present invention will be further described below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

[0030] The optical touch system in the present invention is based on the theory of stereo vision: the reason why people produce stereo vision is due to the difference in the angle of view of the left and right eyes, the left eye sees the object slightly to the left, and the right eye sees the object slightly to the right , transmitted to the brain via the optic nerve, and then the brain integrates the two images into a single stereoscopic image. The invention combines the principle of photography and the theory of stereo vision, and the two image sensors adopted are equivalent to the left and right eyes of a person, so as to realize the precise positioning of the touch points.

[0031] Photography is to record three-dimensional data on a two-dimensional medium. For traditional cameras, this me...

Abstract

The present disclosure provides an optical touch system and a positioning method thereof based on stereo vision theory. The proposed optical touch system adopts at least two adjustable linear image sensors to capture image information so that the information can be applicable to different sizes of touch screens by adjusting locations of the image sensors. Sensing area covers the whole screen without the need to increase quantity of sensors; besides, the present disclosure also provides a positioning method for the optical touch system, making the spectra emitted by a stylus correspond to the image sensors, which leaves out complicated image processing to improve the speed and accuracy of touch response.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to an optical touch system, in particular to an optical touch system and a positioning method thereof which adopt an adjustable positioning method to determine a touched position. Background technique [0002] Common types of touch screens include resistive, capacitive, acoustic, and optical. The resistive touch screen uses a spacer to separate two layers of indium tin oxide (Indium Tin Oxide, ITO) conductive layer. When using it, it uses pressure to make the upper and lower electrodes conductive, and detects the voltage change on the screen after the electrodes are conductive. , so as to calculate the position of the touch. The capacitive touch screen uses the capacitance change generated by the electrostatic combination between the arranged transparent electrodes and the human body to calculate the position coordinates of the contact point. The acoustic wave touch screen converts electrical signals into ultrasonic wave...
