Embodiment Construction

[0018] In February 2012, an experiment was carried out in Xinhe Village, Laogang Town, Pudong New Area, Shanghai, and the earthworms used were Daping No. Eisenia fetida ), the melon variety is "Siboluoto" melon introduced from Japan.

[0019] (1) To plow the field and prepare the land, ditch and raise the furrow according to 160cm, the width of the furrow is 120cm, and the width of the furrow is 40cm, and the furrow is flat or cultivated into a turtle-shaped furrow;

[0020] (2) Melon adopts frame cultivation, and the big seedlings are transplanted, and the seedling age is 4 leaves and 1 heart is better, and two rows are transplanted in each row, the plant spacing is 45cm, and the row spacing is 100cm;

[0021] (3) At the initial stage of melon stretching, when the vines are 20cm long, set up a support, and when the melon vines grow to 60cm, lead the vines to the shelves;

[0022] (4) After 8 days, between the rows of the melon plants, a beer residue feed bed was laid on ...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for improving the yield and the quality of melons through in-situ intercropping. The method comprises the following specific steps of: plowing the farmland to carry out soil preparation, ditching and rising beds of 160cm, and plowing flatly the beds or forming a bed surface in a shape of turtle back, wherein the width of each bed is 120cm, and the width of each ditch is 40cm; carrying out frame cultivation on the melon, transplanting after culturing large seedlings, and transplanting two rows of seedlings in each bed, wherein the plant distance is 45-50cm, and the line space is 90-100cm; laying a support when the vine of the melon grows to 15-20cm at the vine growing initial stage of the melon, and guiding the vine onto the support when the vine of the melon grows to 50-70cm; paving a beer residue feed bed with the width of 100-120cm and the height of 6-10cm on the ground flatly among lines of melon plants after 7-9 days; inoculating earthworms according to the amount of 1300-1500 pieces per square meter after 10-15 days; and recycling the earthworms after the melon is harvested, and turning over the waste beer residue under the farmland to increase the soil organic matters and improve the soil fertility. After the method disclosed by the invention is adopted to plant the melons, the physical and chemical properties of soil are improved and the side-products earthworms are harvested; and meanwhile, the yield, the nutrient content and the like of the melon are improved, the cost can be reduced, high-quality and safer fruits can be produced, and multiple economic benefits are obtained.

Description

[0001] technical field [0002] The invention relates to the technical field of melon cultivation, in particular to a method for improving the yield and quality of melons through interculture in situ. Background technique [0003] Melon, also known as sweet melon or muskmelon, is an annual vine plant native to the tropical deserts of Africa, and then introduced to the Middle East, Central Asia, and India via Egypt, and then to my country. Melon is named for its sweet taste. It is also called muskmelon because of its delicate fragrance. The fruit is sweet and rich in sugar, starch, and a small amount of protein, minerals and other vitamins. Because of its unique fragrance and refreshing taste, it has become a favorite snack fruit in summer together with watermelon. In recent years, with the continuous improvement of people's living standards, muskmelons have also begun to be cultivated in protected areas using greenhouses, greenhouses and other facilities, making the annual ...
