The process is characterized by comprising the steps of: mixing 50g of tea wastes with 400-500g of mixed wood, grinding the mixture, adding the powder to 50g of urea-formaldehyde resin adhesive, mixing the materials uniformly and hot-pressing the mixture at 150-200 DEG C for 5-10 minutes, thus obtaining the environment-friendly composite medium-density fiberboard. The process has the beneficial effects that the formaldehyde emission of the medium-density fiberboard can be effectively reduced by using the tea wastes; and when the addition of the tea wastes is 10%, the static bending strength and internal bond strength of the fiberboard are not affected obviously, so the static bending strength and internal bond strength of the product can meet the national standards.
