Embodiment Construction

[0043] The present invention will be further described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and embodiments.

[0044] The inventive method comprises the following steps:

[0045] Build various nodes of the factory automation wireless network into a star topology;

[0046] AP allocates time slots required for communication to nodes in the network;

[0047] Based on the above topology and time slot allocation results, design the packet aggregation and de-aggregation process and packet format;

[0048] The destination node of the aggregation packet replies with an ACK response;

[0049] The AP decides to retransmit according to the result of the ACK response.

[0050] The star topology adopted by the present invention is as figure 1 As shown, it includes access point AP (Access Point) and node (Node). Among them, mark AP as N 0 . All nodes in the network are within the one-hop communication range of the AP.

[0051] AP allocates corresponding time...

Abstract

The invention relates to the industrial wireless network technologies, and particularly to a packet aggregation method for a factory automation oriented TDMA (Time Division Multiple Access) wireless network. The packet aggregation method comprises the steps of: constructing various nodes of an industrial automation oriented networks into a star-shaped topological structure; allocating necessary time slots necessary for the communication to the nodes in the network by an AP (Access Point); packaging packets which need to be transmitted to multiple nodes into a packet according to an aggregation packet format by the AP based on the topological structure and the time slot allocation result if a buffer memory space is enough; judging if the node is a target node of the aggregation packet after the node receives the aggregation packet from the AP, if yes, receiving and disaggregating the packet, otherwise, discarding the packet; replying an ACK (Acknowledgement Character) response to the AP by the node which receives the aggregation packet, and retransmitting the aggregation packet to the nodes which send no ACK by the AP; and determining retransmission based on the ACK response by the AP. The packet aggregation method for the factory automation oriented TDMA wireless network reduces amount of the packets in the network and packet header expense, increases effective load of the packets, and optimizes performances of the factory automation oriented wireless network under the precondition of no data damage by fully utilizing the characteristic of short length of a acknowledgement frame in the factory automation application.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to industrial wireless network technology, in particular to a packet aggregation method for factory automation TDMA wireless network. Background technique [0002] Industrial wireless network technology is another hot technology in the field of industrial control after fieldbus. It is a revolutionary technology that reduces the cost of industrial measurement and control systems and improves the application range of industrial measurement and control systems. It is also a new growth point for industrial automation products in the next few years. Industrial wireless network technology is oriented to short-range, low-rate information interaction between devices, suitable for use in harsh industrial site environments, and has strong anti-interference ability, ultra-low energy consumption, real-time communication and other technical features. Functional expansion and technological innovation in the direction, and finally transformed in...
