The actuator is connected with an electro-hydraulic proportional valve used to control the rotary of the rock drill through electric cables. According to this arrangement, the optimal rotating speed of the rock drill which is determined by impacting frequency of the rock drill and drill features can be automatically matched by means of adopting a closed-loop control system.
