The preparation method of the externally applied medicinal oil comprises the following steps of: (A), crushing and uniformly mixing a part of solid components to obtain raw material powder; (B), wrapping the raw material powder by using cotton gauze, immersing the raw material powder in an ethanol solution, and immersing to obtain a medicinal stock solution; and (C), adding the wintergreen oil, the peppermint oil and the turpentine oil into the medicinal stock solution, and uniformly stirring to obtain the externally applied medicinal oil for treating middle-aged and old-aged rheumatic diseases.
