The invention discloses a direct-drive wind power system for a wind power plant. The direct-drive wind power system for the wind power plant comprises a single-machine infinite bus system and a grid side inverter reactive power control system. According to the direct-drive wind power system, a power-voltage curve method is used for analyzing the static voltage stability of the wind power plant, and own characteristics of a permanent magnet direct-drive machine unit are combined to control reactive power conversion between the machine unit and a power grid according to the voltage changes of the power grid through a full-power converter, so that the voltage stability of the whole wind power plant is improved; the single-machine infinite bus system is used for analyzing a voltage instability mechanism, and performing simulation for different factors after the factors which influence the voltage stability of the grid-connected wind power plant are obtained, so that a theoretical basis is added; the power-voltage curve method is used for analyzing the influence of capacity increase of the wind power plant on generatrix voltage in the whole system to obtain a stable running limit of the wind power plant; and in addition, steps are simple, and the system is convenient to operate, and has high application value.
