Embodiment Construction

[0030] figure 1 A textile machine for the production of cross-wound bobbins, in this embodiment an automatic cross-winder, is shown schematically in side view, generally designated by the reference number 1 .

[0031] As is known, such an automatic cross-winding winder has a number of identical stations, here winding station 2, between its end supports (not shown). At these winding stations 2, the tubes 9 produced on the ring spinning machine (not shown) are rewound into large packages of cross-wound bobbins 15, which are produced by means of automatic A working maintenance service unit (also not shown) is handed over to a cross-wound bobbin transport mechanism 21 along the length of the machine.

[0032] In this embodiment, the automatic cross-winding machine 1 also has its own logistics in the form of a bobbin-bobbin delivery system 3 . figure 1 Only the bobbin supply section 4, the reversibly driven storage section 5, the transverse transport section 6 leading to the wind...

Abstract

The invention relates to a yarn splicing device for a textile machine producing cross winding bobbins, namely, a device for splicing the heads of two yarns in a no-twist splicing way. The yarn splicing device comprises a mechanism for mechanically preparing yarns, a splicing prism having compressed air exerted therein and making yarn fibers placed inside the yarn splicing channels through air pressure wound in a vortex way and a plurality of ventilation ducts intersecting with the yarn splicing channels. The splicing prism (32) comprises at least three ventilation ducts (42, 43, 44). Two ventilation ducts (42, 44) on the outer sides are arranged in a way that the splicing air hole (41) of the splicing prism (32) is located between the ventilation ducts (42, 44).

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a splicing device for a textile machine for the manufacture of cross-wound bobbins, that is to say a device for splicing the ends of two yarns without joints, the splicing device having a yarn preparation mechanism, which can be A splicing prism to which compressed air is applied and which serves to swirl the fiber flow of the yarn which may be placed in its twisting channel and a plurality of air channels intersecting the twisting channel. Background technique [0002] In the textile industry, yarn splicing devices have long been in the state of the art and are explicitly described in numerous claimed patent applications. For example, yarn splicing devices are known which produce almost the same yarn splicing as the yarn by swirling two yarn ends through an air flow. Such twist joints are an important criterion for yarn quality, they should not only have a similar strength to the yarn, but also have as much as possible an app...
