The obtained layered rare-earth hydroxide (LEuH) is a novel inorganic layered functional material with a layered structure, and layer plates consist of rare-earth elements. The interlayers have negative ion adjustability, namely an LEuH interlayer product can be obtained by exchange between negative ions to be inserted and interlayer negative ions NO3<-> of an LEuH precursor by utilizing interchangeability of LRHS (layered rare-earth hydroxides) interlayer negative ions.
