Abstract

A preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) grinding the dolomite to 100-200 meshes, sufficiently mixing the dolomite powder, the borax and the hollow microspheres according to the weight part proportion, and stirring for 30-40min at a high speed of 3,000-4,000rpm (revolutions per minute) at 100-115 DEG C; (2) adding the pentaerythritol and ammonium polyphosphate into the mixture in the step (1), sufficiently mixing for 30-50 minutes, and cooling to obtain the dolomite compound type flame retardant.
