Abstract

The invention relates to a method for generating echoes of circular synthetic aperture radar based on CPU-GPU heterogeneous computing. The method comprises the steps that firstly, parameters of a radar platform, a target scene and the like are determined; secondly, one CPU thread is set for controlling one GPU through the OpenMP technology and echo data at one orientation pulse are generated through each CPU thread; thirdly, the parameters are copied from each CPU to one GPU controlled by the CPU, the threads are divided in the GPU according to the target point number, and an echo signal containing carrier wave information is calculated; fourthly, the generated echo signal is copied from each GPU to the corresponding CPU, the carrier wave information of the echo signal is removed according to a distance unit, a base band echo signal is obtained, and the base band echo signal is stored in the corresponding CPU; finally, the echo data of all the orientation pulses are collected.
