Abstract

The toxicity of proadifen to MDCK (Madin-Darby canine kidney) cells is detected firstly, and a result shows that the maximum non-cytotoxic concentration of the proadifen is 50.0muM; secondly, the antiviral activity of the proadifen is detected in a completely non-toxic concentration range, and a result shows that the small molecule compound has remarkable antiviral activity, and the antiviral activity has dose-dependent effect; finally, the antiviral activity of the proadifen to different subtype influenza viruses is detected, and a result shows that the proadifen can inhibit replication of detected flu strains in a dose-dependent manner and the anti-influenza virus activity of the proadifen has broad spectrum; therefore, the proadifen is a novel broad-spectrum anti-influenza virus drug and can be used for preparing medicines for treating or preventing and controlling influenza virus infection.
