The invention relates to a biconical high consistency refiner which comprises a machine frame, a main shaft, a refining chamber base, the middle portion of a refining chamber, and a refining chamber cover, wherein a bearing seat is horizontally and fixedly installed on the machine frame, the refining chamber cover, the middle portion of the refining chamber, and the refining chamber base are formed coaxially, the closed refining chamber is defined by the refining chamber cover, the middle portion of the refining chamber, and the refining chamber base, a biconical stator is fixedly installed on the main shaft arranged inside the middle portion of the refining chamber coaxially, a biconical rotor is installed in an inner gap of the biconical stator, and three refiner areas, namely two conical refiner areas arranged in a mirror symmetry mode and a cylindrical refiner area connected in the middle, are formed by the biconical rotor and the biconical stator. The refining chamber cover and the middle portion of the refining chamber can be opened in the radial direction by means of a mechanical arm and a hinge with the refining chamber base as the basis, so that refining chamber maintenance and adhesive disc replacement are facilitated.
